INS Annual Meeting in 2017
HNRP affiliated investigators presented at the 45th Annual Meeting of the International Neuropsychological Society, New Orleans, LA, 2/1/17- 2/4/17.
Their works personified the diversity and interdisciplinary aspects of research produced by HNRP associated scientists. These researchers attempt to explore both the mechanisms of neurocognitive dysfunction and its impacts on the individual afflicted.

Dr. Elizabeth Pasipanodya Receives a UCSD Frontiers of Innovation Scholars Program Award
Congratulations to postdoctoral fellow Elizabeth Pasipanodya, Ph.D. for receiving a UCSD Frontiers of Innovation Scholars Program (FISP) award! Her project, titled “Beyond Nomothetics: Predicting Individual Vulnerability to Antiretroviral Nonadherence and Methamphetamine Use Among Persons Living with HIV/AIDS”, aims to use machine learning methods to predict periods of vulnerability to methamphetamine use and nonadherence to antiretroviral therapy.

Congratulations to Igor Grant, MD on receiving a 2016 HIV Community Service Award from the San Diego LGBT Community Center! Dr. Grant was the Chair of the UCSD Department of Psychiatry from 2014-2019 as well as Director of the HIV Neurobehavioral Research Program (HNRP). The HNRP's mission is to initiate and promote translational NeuroAIDS research through the development, coordination, and realization of multi-disciplinary studies.
