Congratulations to Igor Grant, MD on receiving a 2016 HIV Community Service Award from the San Diego LGBT Community Center! Dr. Grant was the Chair of the UCSD Department of Psychiatry from 2014-2019 as well as Director of the HIV Neurobehavioral Research Program (HNRP). The HNRP's mission is to initiate and promote translational NeuroAIDS research through the development, coordination, and realization of multi-disciplinary studies.

HNRP research studies focus on neuropsychiatry, neuropsychological testing, neurocognition, the effects of antiretrovirals on the brain and aging, how HIV may impact everyday functioning, and intervention strategies for improving the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS.
