Description » | A research study attempting to learn more about the effects of HIV in the brain and central nervous system and to understand the effects of various treatment options. |
Criteria » | Experiencing changes in thinking, memory, attention, or concentration since becoming HIV-positive; having friends and family comment on difficulties remembering or understanding what has been said; getting lost in familiar places; or becoming unable to complete basic tasks. Possibly changing HIV medications due to low CD4 cell count and/or high viral load. |
