The HNRP consists of multiple Resource Groups, each with distinct scientific and service objectives. Resource Group activities are coordinated by a Leadership Team, consisting of the Program Director, Co-Directors, and Program Manager. The Leadership Team facilitates the use of HNRP resources and ensures that associated projects are consistent with the overall mission of the HNRP. To accomplish these goals, the Leadership Team interacts regularly with Resource Group faculty and staff leadership in the context of weekly HNRP Coordinating Group meetings. Additionally, HNRP Leadership Team and Coordinating Group members participate in a weekly meeting with all HNRP-associated investigators to review requests for resources, address evolving research issues, and facilitate lively interchange among permanent members and investigators with grant or manuscript proposals. Figure 1 lists the resource coordination functions performed by the HNRP Coordinating Group and shows the relationship between existing HNRP-associated programs.
